About the Role
Culver Academies is a private boarding school located on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana. The school enrolls students from across the United States and around the world and is committed to developing and nurturing the whole individual through integrated programs that emphasize character development.
Responsibilities
- Coach 36 sports offered by Culver Academies.
- Model and cultivate Culver’s mission and values.
- Develop and improve as a coach through professional growth.
- Communicate effectively with other coaches, teachers, parents, and athletic department staff.
- Build and maintain a successful athletic program.
Requirements
- Substantial coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Playing experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
- A deep passion for and knowledge of the sport being coached.
- A willingness to develop professionally and continuously improve as a coach.
- A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A clear vision for building and maintaining a successful athletic program.
- An enthusiasm, positive attitude, and passion for teaching and coaching.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with young people.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with student athletes.
