26-27 Chemistry Leave Replacement

About the Role

This is a leave replacement position for the 2026-27 school year, teaching Chemistry at Middletown High School. The role requires current and applicable New York State certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct coursework in Chemistry.
• Assess student work and provide accurate, constructive feedback.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and affirming classroom environment.
• Set high expectations anchored in rigorous instruction.
• Utilize instructional strategies that adapt to diverse learning needs.
• Perform customary duties associated with the teaching position.

Requirements

• Current and applicable New York State teaching certification.
• Fingerprint clearance submission is required.

Pay

Salary is pursuant to the Middletown Teachers Association (MTA) Contract.
