26/27 Assistant Cross Country Coach (Paseo H.S.)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Cook up a team with a full squad in line with MSHSAA guidelines.
• Put together the program according to the MSHSAA Handbook and attend all required sessions.
• Handle the coordination of the program.
• Watch over students at practices and contests.
• Provide info for transportation, facilities, officials, and game management.
• Organize and schedule practice sessions regularly with the aim of boosting each athlete's potential.
• Emphasize safety and adhere to the best training and injury management methods.
• Act ethically and uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship during practices and contests.
• Return all school equipment systematically in accordance with the KCMSD Athletic Department Handbook.
• Continue professional growth via clinics and professional publications.
• Successfully complete the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses.

To Be Successful at This Job, You'll Need To:

• Hold a Teachers Certificate or valid Substitute Certificate or Temporary (provisional) Teacher’s Certificate.
