About the role
Under supervision of a Facilities Manager or site administrator, performs general grounds maintenance and skilled gardening work.
Responsibilities
- Planting, cultivating and maintaining lawns, plants, and shrubs
- Landscape grounds and gardens
- Maintain and set up or lay out athletic fields
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience: One to two years in gardening, general ground maintenance
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of: Basic gardening methods and use of tools and materials used in gardening and groundskeeping
- Ability to: Follow oral and written instructions; perform general gardening work; perform heavy manual labor
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students and staff
- Provide high quality customer service to students, community and District staff
