About the role

At our core, we’re a group of problem solvers providing award-winning technology solutions to drive digital acceleration for our customers. As an Application Developer, Advanced Technology (Senior), you will translate application requirements into web-based solutions using emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development teams and customers to design, architect, implement, and support front-end, back-end, and data-conversation solutions.
• Provide design and development of cloud-based and Salesforce solutions; responsible for technical design and implementation of the architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and backend applications.
• Provide definition of current state architecture blueprints.
• Research new technologies and products for their applicability to business processes.
• Compare various solutions and determine the one which best fits the need.
• Ensure that development efforts are well planned and in agreement with standards.
• Work closely with development teams and customers to design, architect, implement, and support big data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or five (5) years of equivalent experience in a related field. (A Master’s degree is preferred.)
• 3+ years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and/or equipment analysis.
• 1+ year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies including Internet protocols or web-based technology (e.g., HTML, CGI applications, PERL, JavaScript, Java).
