Description Summary
Carry out Mechanical Integrity inspections on vessels, piping, and tanks at ethanol facilities nationwide on a 3-week on/1-week off rotation.
Essential Functions
- Conduct non-destructive (NDT) testing of components and materials according to relevant codes, standards, and procedures.
- Select, prepare, load, calibrate, or operate equipment necessary for NDT inspections, including API 510, API 570, API 653, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and leak testing.
- Identify defects in materials using appropriate testing techniques.
- Document, complete work orders, and report findings accurately and timely, adhering to established protocols.
- Drive company vehicles safely and maintain a clean driving record.
- Adhere to and enforce safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- NDT Methods – Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to continuously learn and apply skills.
- Mechanical – Intermediate mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Communication and Active Listening – Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Demands – Frequent lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, occasional lifting up to 150 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, standing for long periods, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, working in confined spaces, working in extreme cold and heat, visual acuity, working near hazards, exposure to chemicals.

Education and Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification in API 510, 570, 653.
