About the role
Signal Support Systems Specialists integrate signal systems and networks, perform signal support functions, and maintain and install signal support systems and terminal devices. They also provide technical assistance and training for automation and communications equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain radio and data distribution systems
- Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems
- Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks
- Maintain equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators
Requirements
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards

Schedule
Basic Training: 10 weeks
Advanced Individual Training (AIT): 18 weeks
