Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a diverse and skilled nursing and midwifery team to deliver high-quality, compassionate, safe, and effective care.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Education and Training team to ensure robust clinical education and training programs are in place.
- Develop and implement leadership strategies that align with NHS Scotland's Vision, Ambitions, and Values.
- Work closely with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all staff can thrive and reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Relevant nursing or midwifery qualification.
- Experience leading and managing a nursing or midwifery team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of the NHS Scotland Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Plan.
Qualifications
- Current PVG Scheme membership/record.
- Completion of a criminal records check if required by legislation.
