Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a diverse and skilled nursing and midwifery team
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient and service user care
- Collaborate with the Clinical Education and Training team to support clinical education and training
- Participate in robust induction programs and preceptorship to ensure new staff are well-supported
- Work with the team to build and develop leadership skills
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Relevant nursing or midwifery qualifications
- Experience in leadership and management within healthcare settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of the NHS Scotland Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Plan
Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
