About the role
NHS Dumfries & Galloway is recruiting a PLICS Cost Accountant. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about finance, with strong analytical skills and a desire to contribute to the effective financial management of NHS services.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: HND, AAT Technician level, or equivalent experience; minimum two years’ relevant accounting experience; strong numerical and analytical skills; advanced Excel skills; good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Desirable: Experience using NHS finance systems; understanding of NHS finance structures and reporting hierarchies.
