24 Hour - Maintenance Assistant

Representative duties include a variety of skilled work in general building maintenance and facilities projects as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance
• Facilities projects
• Basic plumbing and carpentry tasks
• Maintenance of vehicle and small gas engine powered equipment

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year prior work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Skills

• Knowledge of basic plumbing and carpentry preferred
• Experience with vehicle and small gas engine powered equipment preferred

Pay

$28.45 per hour (new hire) – $36.04 per hour (with 18 years of service with the town)

Schedule

24 hours per week
