Position: Grading Heavy Equipment Operator Location: Hillsborough, NC Pay: $22 to $32/hour (Depending on experience) Experience: 5 years of rough or fine grading experience with dozer, motor grader, excavator, etc. Education: High School Diploma. Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Ability to work Saturdays as needed) Greene Resources is seeking a Grading Heavy Equipment Operator to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description Operate multiple grading machines, including motor graders, dozers, excavators, and loaders.Perform rough and fine grading, sloping, and leveling to precise tolerances.Read and follow grade stakes, GPS guidance, and surveyor instructions.Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform minor equipment maintenance.Support site preparation tasks such as shoveling, traffic control, and debris removal.Maintain strict safety practices and report hazards promptly.Assist with road, utility, and site preparation to project specifications. Position Requirements Proven experience maintaining grade (for motor grader operators).Safety-focused work habits and adherence to procedures.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Reliability and strong work ethic.Sedimentation & Erosion Control certification (or ability to obtain).Traffic Control certification (or ability to obtain).Interest in leading small crews.
