Essential Functions
- Aids teachers in planning, organizing, and implementing standards-based classroom practices.
- Collects and analyzes student work, provides resources for student learning, monitors student progress, and implements differentiated instructional practices.
- Shares current research on instructional best practices.
- Assists teachers as needed with the total instructional program.
- Aids in effective planning, implementation, and utilization of technology as it relates to instruction.
- Serves as a liaison between teams across grade levels and content areas.
- Leads a continuous program of curriculum and instructional improvement.
- Recommends and obtains instructional materials, methods, and resources as needed by teachers.

Physical Requirements
- Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling;
- Some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling;
- Significant fine finger dexterity;
- 20% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing.
Continuing Education/Training
- Maintains all licenses and certifications;
- Maintains clearances.
