About the role

21GRAMS, Real Chemistry’s advertising agency, is seeking a client-facing Post Producer to join ROOM42, our in-house production company. This role involves producing multiple competing projects in a fun, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with Producers, Editors, Animators, AI Artists, and Audio Engineers to deliver high-quality content while managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, aligns with our team mantra—“Be hard on the work, but be good to each other”—and is passionate about elevating healthcare advertising.

This role can be remote within the United States or based in any of our U.S. office locations, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Lambertville, NJ, San Francisco, or Carmel, IN.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Producers, Directors, Editors, Designers, Animators, AI Artists, and Audio Engineers to produce high-quality content for multiple platforms.
• Assess project scopes and create/maintain budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Interface with clients, track changes, and ensure quality control.
• Develop, maintain, and expand an internal freelance artist database.
• Manage projects, artists, and freelance scheduling for in-house initiatives.
• Provide clear, timely communication about realities, solutions, and opportunities in the post-production process.
• Ensure accuracy in invoicing and efficient use of staff/freelance time.
• Build strong relationships with clients, post-production partners, and support teams.
• Contribute positively to company culture and business development efforts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in the production industry (healthcare agency experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of broadcast, digital, social, and standard delivery specifications.
• Experience with post-production budgets and scheduling for timelines.
• Established knowledge of and relationships with vendors and freelancers.
• Excellent understanding of editing, animation, color grading, AI, sound design, and mixing processes (VFX experience a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Box, Frame.io, and remote server editing processes.
• Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
• Desire for long-term growth and a passion for the creative process.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000–$100,000. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal parity.

Schedule

Real Chemistry embraces a hybrid work model (Real HART) designed to balance collaboration, flexibility, and meaningful relationships. Work arrangements vary by role and location:

• For employees within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office, in-person attendance is required two days per week (either in-office or onsite with clients).
• Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and participate in periodic in-person collaboration, culture-building, and team connection events.
