About the role
This 10-week internship program is designed to provide you with the experience and knowledge essential for a successful career within Procurement. The internship is project-based, allowing you to take ownership of a project from start to finish, addressing a critical gap within the function and driving tangible value for the business. Through comprehensive, hands-on, and strategically integrated opportunities, this program aims to develop well-balanced Procurement professionals.
As a contributing member of the team, you will be accountable for results and project deliverables, with direct exposure to foundational Procurement principles. You’ll work with an influential industry leader in consumer-packaged goods (Fortune Magazine) and a top 5 Supply Chain organization as ranked by Gartner.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a project from start to finish, addressing a critical gap within the Procurement function and driving tangible value for the business.
- Work on diverse business projects involving research, cost analyses, and engaging stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members and demonstrate strong communication, influence, leadership, and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or other related field (degree to be completed by June 2028).
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Preferred Procurement or related internship/co-op experience.
- Available to start the program in June 2027.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Solon, OH or Arlington, VA, and be flexible to work remote or in the office on any given day.
- Strong communication, influence, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, is preferred.
