Schedule
This role requires full-time work (40 hours a week) in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the co-op/intern term.
- Spring/Summer Co-op: January 15, 2027 - August 13, 2027
- Summer Internship (Semester Students): May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027
- Summer Internship (Quarter Students): June 21, 2027 - September 10, 2027
- Summer/Fall Co-op (Semester Students): May 24, 2027 - December 10, 2027
- Summer/Fall Co-op (Quarter Students): June 21, 2027 - December 10, 2027
Locations
Austin, TX; Boxborough, MA; Fort Collins, CO; Longmont, CO; Fishkill, NY; Rochester, NY
Responsibilities
You will collaborate with engineers and be responsible for some of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products. Responsibilities include:
- Building applications for external and internal use
- Developing large-scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD’s Hardware organization
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a US-based university in an undergraduate program majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Skills
If you have knowledge or experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we encourage you to apply:
- C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB
- ASIC design and verification
- ML and AI
- System/Board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design
