2027 Technology Summer Internship - Early Careers (Software Engineering)
About the role
with paragraphs. - Responsibilities: list of duties: "Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications..." etc. Also AI-Enabled Engineering & Modern Development Practices bullet list, Data, Platforms, and Architecture bullet list. So we can combine into a- list.
- Requirements: maybe "Required Qualifications" and "Desired Qualifications". Could be separate sections: Requirements and Qualifications? The instruction says use headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to map content accordingly.
We have:
- Required Qualifications: "6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education"
- Desired Qualifications: list of items: currently pursuing bachelor's degree in CS etc, foundational knowledge, understanding algorithms, experience with SDLC, strong problem solving, demonstrated exposure to AI tools, familiarity with prompt engineering, interest in AI transforming workflows, prior engineering internship experience, energetic self-starter, involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities.
We could put Required Qualifications under Requirements heading, and Desired Qualifications under Qualifications heading. Or combine both under Qualifications? The instruction: we have both Requirements and Qualifications headings available. Use them appropriately.
- Skills: maybe list of technologies: Languages/Frameworks, Platforms, Data, Tools. Could be under Skills heading.
- Benefits: list of benefits: Health benefits, 401(k) Plan, Paid time off, Disability benefits, Life insurance..., Parental leave, Critical caregiving leave, Discounts and savings, Commuter benefits, Tuition reimbursement, Scholarships for dependent children, Adoption reimbursement.
- Pay: Pay ranges per location: AZ $48.08 hourly, MO $48.08, NC $48.08, TX $48.08, NJ $60.10. Also mention Pay Range Reflected is base pay range offered, may vary, incentive opportunities. Also mention $38.46 - $63.46? Actually earlier: "Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors... Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $38.46 - $63.46". That seems like overall pay range? We'll include that.
- Schedule: Program Duration: June 2027 - August 2027 (10 weeks). Also mention hybrid work schedule, onsite presence required. Also mention Job Expectations: Position will require onsite presence at one of the required locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule. Must take and pass required technology skills assessment. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Program Locations list. So schedule section could include duration and hybrid schedule.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Also remove "Posting End Date", "Job posting may come down early", "We Value Equal Opportunity", etc. Also remove "Based on the volume..." etc. Also remove "Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered..."? That's part of pay, we can keep but maybe it's okay. It's not boilerplate. Keep.
We must not invent or summarize away detail. Must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include all specifics: e.g., "Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, including enhancements, bug fixes, and new services across enterprise platforms" etc. Also bullet points under AI-Enabled Engineering etc. Must keep them.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We'll structure:
About the role
... paragraphs ...
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, including enhancements, bug fixes, and new services across enterprise platforms
- Collaborate in Agile (Scrum / Kanban) teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable code
- AI-Enabled Engineering & Modern Development Practices
- ... nested? Might be okay but spec says use
- for any list. Could have nested lists but still okay. We'll flatten maybe: each bullet as separate
- with description. Could be long but okay. Better to keep each bullet as separate
- with the content. We'll list: - Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Devin, etc.) and AI platforms to accelerate development, including: - Generating unit and integration test cases aligned with Wells Fargo QA standards - Assisting with code development, documentation, and refactoring within approved toolchain boundaries - Supporting rapid prototyping and solution design exploration within sandbox/non-production environments - Partner with senior engineers to review, validate, and govern AI-generated code to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, risk, and security standards - Contribute to AI-augmented development workflows including automated documentation, code review assistance, and developer productivity tooling within approved SDLC processes - Explore opportunities to integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications (e.g., intelligent automation, predictive insights, natural language interfaces) in alignment with Model Risk Management (MRM) guidelines and regulatory requirements - Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of AI-assisted outputs while adhering to data handling and confidentiality policies But that's many sub-bullets. We could keep as separate
- each.
Similarly Data, Platforms, and Architecture:
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications
- Contribute to data engineering efforts, including data modeling, pipeline development, and analytics environments
- Support creation of reusable frameworks and apply modern design patterns across distributed systems
- Partner with architecture, product, and platform teams to support the technical evolution of services
We'll include those.

We must not repeat job title. Also we should not include "Program Overview" heading separate; we incorporated into About the role. Check for any boilerplate left: we removed EEO, legal, etc. Also removed "Posting End Date", "Job posting may come down early", "We Value Equal Opportunity", etc. Also removed "Based on the volume of applications received, this job posting may be removed prior to the indicated close date." etc. Also removed "After submitting your application, please monitor your e-mail for future communications." Also removed "Wells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized to work..." maybe that's substantive? It's about work authorization. Could be considered relevant but maybe it's boilerplate? It's a requirement about visa sponsorship. The posting says "This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship" and also "Wells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who do not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future". That's relevant to eligibility. Should we keep? It's substantive. Could be included under Requirements or Qualifications. But we already have Requirements (6+ months). Could add a note about work authorization. However the instruction says "Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a shortor drop it." This is not minor metadata; it's eligibility. Might keep under Requirements as a paragraph. But we already have Requirements paragraph; we could add another sentence: "Candidates must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo." However the posting also says "Wells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized
