2027 Tax Winter Intern - Private Client Services (PCS)

About the role

As a PCS intern, you will work with the Private Client Services team to learn how to prepare financial statements, perform compilations and reviews, and prepare federal and state income tax returns.

Responsibilities

Schedule

Hybrid setting for 24 hours over 3 business days (Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm) with a minimum of 2–3 in‑person days per week at your assigned office.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university
  • 0–2 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in your assigned office state
  • Pursuing 150 academic credits or a master’s degree in accounting (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university
  • Graduation between December 2027 and September 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
