2027 Tax Winter Intern - Private Client Services (PCS)
About the role
The Private Client Services (PCS) team at EisnerAmper is looking for a PCS intern to assist with the process of preparing financial statements and performing compilations and reviews. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid setting, with 24 hours of in-office work over 3 business days (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm).
Responsibilities
- Learn the process of preparing financial statements and performing compilations and reviews.
- Learn the preparation procedures of federal and state income tax returns.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Must have 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must have the availability to work in a hybrid setting for 24 hours over 3 business days (Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm).
- Must live in a commutable distance to your assigned office.
- Must be able to complete the entire Winter Internship Program starting in early January 2027.
Qualifications
- Basic qualifications include a minimum GPA of 3.0, strong academic track record, strong MS Excel and MS Word skills, strong time management and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Prioritizing educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include a final graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills are also preferred.
