Internship Program

Mary Kay University is a 10‑week summer internship program that provides undergraduate and graduate students with meaningful, real‑world experience across a variety of business functions. Interns contribute to real projects, solve business challenges, and build skills, relationships, and confidence for their future careers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree at an accredited university (full‑time undergraduate or part‑time/full‑time graduate students).
• Rising juniors and seniors preferred.
• Preferred degrees: Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Social Media, Business, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or similar.

What You Bring

• Strong interest in social media and digital trends.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
• Passion for the beauty industry.
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and/or TikTok for a business or organization.
• Exposure to graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
• Photography and editing skills (preferred, not required).

Pay

All internships are paid, starting at $20 per hour.

Schedule

The internship runs for 10 weeks, from late June to mid‑August. Interns work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with an in‑office presence 4‑5 days per week.

Location

Internships are located at Mary Kay’s Global Headquarters in Addison, TX, or the Manufacturing/R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX.
