2027 Summer Internship Program - Continuous Improvement Engineering
About the role
Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern to take part in our Summer Internship Program.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing to support operational excellence
- Participate in CI Events (Kaizens)
- Identify and eliminate wastes
- Assist CI Engineers with other routing tasks
- Work in an industrial environment (must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment)
- Interact with Trex engineers and production operations personnel
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited industrial, mechanical, or chemical engineering program
- Successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework
- GPA of 3.0 or above
