Responsibilities
- Work on real-world challenges within the utility/energy sector
- Collaborate with a mentor and apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
- Build your professional network through various intern events
- Work with cross-functional teams on projects
- Receive ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
- Present at the annual Intern Expo to showcase your assigned internship project
- Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
- Demonstrate effective and open communication
- Ensure the protection of physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly access and manage private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later
- 2.8 GPA or higher
Additional Information
- Hybrid work mode: employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days
- Employees are required to reside in the state of California (unless otherwise noted)
- Internship dates: May/June 2027 through August/September 2027
- Interview/selection process: November 2026 – March 2027
- Transcripts will be verified during the onboarding process
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
