About the Role

The SSB&T Internship is a 10-week internship program beginning in June and ending in July. Through this program, students will gain hands-on experience in customer service and banking operations. They will learn to build relationships and understand the unique needs of Security State Bank & Trust.

Responsibilities

• Champion SSB&T’s Core Values: Model SSB&T’s core values, embedding them into data strategy, governance, and team culture.
• Participate in a 10-week internship program covering:
  • Introduction to Lending, Credit, Retail, Insurance, Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Talent Management, and more
  • Soft skills and personal development
• Prepare and present their internship experience to management
• Other duties as assigned from time to time in SSB&T's reasonable discretion

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be diligent, hardworking, sincere, and a quick learner
• Must be a self-starter, motivated, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Business-related majors: Banking and Finance, Business, Accounting, Ag Business, Business Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
