2027 Summer Intern: Renewables Intern
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to decide sections: The posting includes "Responsibilities" (with subheadings Wind, Solar, BESS). Also "Qualifications". Also "What we offer" includes pay rate, sign-on bonus, duration, etc. Also maybe "About the role" could be the introductory paragraph about UL and the role. The instruction says we can use About the role as a heading. So we can have
About the role
with prose summarizing the introductory paragraphs (but must preserve ALL substantive information, not summarize away detail). However we cannot invent or summarize away detail; we need to preserve all substantive info. If we put the introductory paragraphs as prose under About the role, that's fine. We must not omit any detail. So we need to include the introductory text: "At UL, we know why we come to work...". That's a paragraph. Then "As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for a Renewables Intern to join our team in Northbrook, IL. or Chicago, IL." That's also part of intro. So we can include that as prose.
Then Responsibilities: we need to list duties. The responsibilities are described in paragraphs with bullet-like sentences. We should convert to - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. The responsibilities have multiple bullet-like items; we can break them into list items. However we must preserve all substantive information; we can keep the prose but better to use list. The instruction: Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. So if we have a list, we should use
- . The responsibilities section includes many items; we can make a list.
Similarly Qualifications: list of qualifications; we can use
- .
What we offer: includes pay rate, sign-on bonus, duration, networking, learning & development opportunities, real world impact. Also maybe "Learn More" and "About Us" etc. Those are more about company; maybe we can treat as "About the company" but not required. The instruction says include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. The "About Us" and "About The Team" are boilerplate? They are descriptive but maybe considered boilerplate? They are not about the role specifically; they are generic company description. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The "About Us" and "About The Team" might be considered boilerplate but they are substantive about the company. However they are not directly about the role; but they are part of the posting. The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep them. But we need to decide where to put them. Could be under "About the company" but not in the list of headings given. The allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. It doesn't include About the company. However we could still include a heading like "About UL Solutions" but not in the list; but the instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., meaning those are examples, not exclusive. So we can add other headings if needed. But we should prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. The "About Us" and "About The Team" could be combined into a single section "About UL Solutions". That seems appropriate.
We also have "Learn More: Join UL Solutions to be at the center of safety. To learn more about us and the work we do, visit UL.com". That's like a call to action; maybe we can drop as application instructions? It's not exactly application instruction but it's a link. Might be considered boilerplate; but it's substantive? It's a link to learn more. Might be okay to keep as a short paragraph under About UL Solutions.
We must not include duplicated lines. Ensure we don't repeat.
Now we need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
Let's craft:
