About the role

Interns work in one specific business area or function for ten weeks and have access to opportunities for collaboration with other students and employees from around the Bank. How You’ll Make an Impact as a P&E Intern (Graduate)
The People & Engagement (P&E) program offers summer interns a unique opportunity to participate in specialized projects and receive on-the-job training and experience across one or more P&E functions, including:

Contribute to innovative initiatives by performing in-depth research and meticulously organizing information, driving forward our organization's strategic goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Assist People & Engagement with the implementation of people programs, procedures, plans and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current Undergraduate Junior or first-year Graduate student demonstrating a profound interest in Human Resources, coupled with a robust academic record and a passion for public service, seeking to leverage their educational background and enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to our team
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A sense of urgency and an ability to execute quickly and efficiently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Acrobat
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Pay
Your regular wages for the 10 weeks will be paid on a semi-monthly basis and will be calculated based on an annual salary of $94,900. We believe in transparency at the New York Fed. This salary range reflects a variety of skills and experiences candidates may bring to the job. We pay individuals along this range based on their unique backgrounds.
