About the role

This internship focuses on creating and rolling out a company-wide Panduit design and installation standard to ensure consistency across products, projects, and manufacturing operations. The project aims to improve product quality, reduce rework, enhance training, optimize material use, and deliver consistent customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current design and installation practices.
  • Document standards for product selection, layout, wire routing, labeling, sizing, installation, and inspection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain approval and deploy the new standard.
  • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects.
  • Work in professional teams and build relationships across the business.
  • Develop technical skills tied to your major.
  • Deliver a final presentation to local management.
  • Gain industry knowledge and improve planning and organizational skills.
  • Tackle robust, value-added projects for practical experience.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple overlapping projects with minimal supervision.
  • Support colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship (May–August 2027).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree relevant to the internship.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Pay

Hourly rates range from $22.50 to $29.00, based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
