Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to advanced analysis tools, ANSYS, NASTRAN, component analysis experience.
- Learn Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- Get hands on experience working with a team to design, build, and test a complex vehicle to specific requirements and specifications.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Mechanical Engineering required
- Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience
- Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027
- 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Exposure to CATIA / advanced CAD systems, component design experience.
- Exposure to advanced analysis tools, ANSYS, NASTRAN, component analysis experience.
- Familiarity with defining and interpreting GD&T.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.
