2027 Summer Intern - Finance & Accounting Analyst

This 2027 Summer Internship for a Finance & Accounting Analyst is located at PIMCO’s Newport Beach, CA Headquarters.
Eligibility
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Must be able to begin full-time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028
- Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester (August 2027 – December 2027)
- Minimum 3.4 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
- Business proficiency in English

Responsibilities
The Finance team at PIMCO is responsible for financial management, including financial planning and analysis, risk management, accounting and controls, and reporting. You’ll gain exposure to financial drivers of the firm, financial operations, accounting, and strategic decision-making.
- Work on projects within Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Client Billing, or partnering with the Executive Office
- Explore various facets of finance operations and build a wide network across the Finance team
- Gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one
Internship Experience
- 10-week program running from early June to mid-August
- Week 1: Participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training to build skills, knowledge, and relationships
- Engage in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering
- Attend cross-divisional education, networking, and social events
- Receive guidance and mentorship from your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team
- Mid- and end-of-summer formal review process for feedback
Pay
Hourly Rate: $34.61
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach, including a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus rewards performance based on company, business, team, and individual achievements.
