Responsibilities

• Support the quality and safety teams by analyzing regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Analyze government policies to determine the impact on Bell Operations.
• Develop and implement plans to comply with these regulations.
• Analyze standards in terms of engineering concepts and apply these standards to meet specific requirements.
• Assist in safety inspection of equipment and/or audits of processes for conformance with safety and environmental compliance requirements (OSHA, EPA, and other federal agencies) and Bell policy/procedures.
• Participate in injury/incident investigations.
• Assist in the determination of root-cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence of said injuries/incidents.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Sustainability, or a related Science degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1–August 6, 2027.
• 3.0 GPA preferred.
