About the role

This intern will support manufacturing operations by documenting critical tooling knowledge in Inventor and AutoCAD, driving Lean initiatives, developing standard work, and creating sustainable processes and documentation to ensure long-term operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects.
  • Work on value-added, comprehensive assignments in a professional team environment.
  • Develop technical skills specific to your major.
  • Build professional relationships and explore other business units.
  • Deliver a final presentation to the local management team.
  • Learn how the industry intersects with Hubbell’s operations.
  • Hone planning and organizational skills.
  • Tackle challenging projects that provide practical experience.
  • Assist with process improvement efforts.
  • Manage multiple overlapping projects with minimal supervision.
  • Support and assist colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship (May–August 2027).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the internship.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Pay

Hourly rates range from $22.50 to $29.00, based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
