2027 Summer Associate
About the role
The Summer Associate program at The Legacy Lawyers, P.C. offers hands-on legal experience by delivering legal services to paying clients under close supervision and mentoring. Successful rising 2L Summer Associates will receive job offers to join the firm upon passing the bar exam, while rising 1L Summer Associates will be invited to return as rising 2L Summer Associates the following year.
The program runs from May 25, 2027, to July 16, 2027, with positions available in Irvine and Torrance, CA (onsite only).
Compensation
- $2,900 per week
Responsibilities
- Deliver competent legal services to clients under training, mentoring, and supervision.
Qualifications
- Must have completed one year of law school by the Summer of 2027.

- Demonstrated work ethic, such as working through school, experience in family-run businesses, or prior law clerk experience.
- High level of maturity, good judgment, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to assume responsibility.
- Team player: humble, hungry, and people-smart.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
