About the role

Kelley Construction is a multi-faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work in many states across the United States, with expertise in restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast‑food chains, large design‑build expansions, general office renovation, and industrial construction such as liquid storage, containment, petroleum‑related work, pre‑engineered metal buildings, and concrete construction. The 2025 Summer Intern program offers five openings for interns to work under the direction of project managers, estimators, or field staff on hands‑on construction management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a Project Manager, Estimator, Field Manager, or Chief Estimator.
• Perform hands‑on construction management activities.
• Intern assignments may be at a job site or in the office, depending on company needs and the intern’s experience and performance trajectory.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Available for the duration of the co‑op (summer, spring, etc.).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Strong detailed written communication skills.
• Availability for travel on an as‑needed basis (a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret building plans.
