About the role
A co‑op assists designated department management and staff in performing assigned tasks under direct or general supervision, exemplifying the TD Bank Culture and Customer Service Philosophy. This Global Technology Solutions (GTS) Co‑op functions as a Software Engineer Co‑op, with in‑person opportunities in Mount Laurel, NJ. Candidates are required to be in‑office 4 days a week and will receive a relocation stipend.
Responsibilities
- Builds an understanding of the businesses and customers the role supports
- May answer and direct incoming calls internally and externally
- Provides support for manager and other areas as indicated
- May assist in completing various departmental projects and reports
- Assists with operational and administrative functions
- Performs diversified clerical duties as assigned
- May support or partner with several business functions, areas, or departments
- Participates in various projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Currently enrolled in a 4‑year college program
- Graduation date of May 2028 preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Entry‑level position; no prior work experience required
- Some knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and/or Jira preferred
- Must have interest in AI and machine learning
- 3.2 GPA or higher preferred
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work in an office environment
