About the role

As a leading employer on the Outer Banks for over 50 years, Kitty Hawk Kites is hiring an Events Marketing Intern for our 2027 Season! Come Work, Live & Play at The Outer Banks! The Marketing Intern will be involved in many aspects of our diverse marketing program as well as other departments in the company.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and running Kids’ days each week for their area with the guidance and supervision of the Events Coordinator
• Present unique ideas to promote events and draw visitors to participate
• Assist weekly distribution of KHK marketing materials
• Improve, maintain, and develop relationships with other businesses
• Other projects as assigned

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a college program focusing on Marketing, Events Planning, or another related field
• 0 – 2 years related Marketing
