REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Scientific Research & Development Trainee in Winston-Salem, NC. Our Global Graduate Program (GGP) is an accelerated, entry-level opportunity for graduates with 1 to 3 years of professional experience who are ready to fast-track their careers globally. The program is designed to prepare participants for a Lead Manager role within one year, with potential international career opportunities across BAT.
Responsibilities
- Conducting research and data analysis to support key SR&D and S&RA initiatives.
- Supporting the development and implementation of functional strategies and projects.
- Applying scientific insights to address business and product-related challenges.
- Investigating complex issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Delivering high-quality projects through collaboration, accountability and self-leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required in Materials Science, Engineering, Data Science, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Physics or a related field. Bachelor’s degrees may be considered with relevant experience.
- Previous research experience or related internship.
- Knowledge of FDA regulatory processes or experience in an FDA-regulated industry.
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated leadership potential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, adaptability and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations using data and insights.
- Willingness to relocate globally.
