Private Equity Analyst-Associate Position Description
The Private Equity Full-time Analyst-Associate program is a three-year commitment with potential for a fourth year. Analysts spend their first two years in the position, followed by 1-2 years as Associates. The program commences in July 2027 with an extensive, multi-week training program designed to introduce Bain Capital’s value-added investment approach. Analysts start their careers in the Boston office, gaining significant experience in a short period due to the breadth of industries, types of investments, and overall deal volume.
- Evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental strategic analysis and traditional financial modeling.
- Gain unique operating experience through exposure to various portfolio company issues such as potential add-on investments, liquidity options, and improving core operations.
Candidates should have an excellent academic track record and strong quantitative, leadership, and communication skills. The Private Equity Analyst-Associate opportunity is available only to students currently in an undergraduate program. Pay and Benefits
Compensation
Expected Annual Base Salary: $110,000
Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, a 401(k) program, relocation assistance, and an annual discretionary bonus.
