2027 L'Oréal USA Summer Internship - Sustainability– Undergraduate (NY)
About the role
Join L'Oréal's paid, 11-week Summer Internship Program where you will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of the Sustainability Team. You will lead your own strategic project, contribute to L'Oréal for the Future (our global sustainability program), and present your insights to senior management for a potential full-time return offer into our Management Trainee program.
Who You Are
- Ambitious students currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university, expected to graduate between December 2027 – July 2028
- Innovative thinkers passionate about creating beauty that moves the world
- No prior industry experience necessary
Requirements
- Able to start working full-time in September 2028 upon graduation with your bachelor’s degree
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis (no immigration support/sponsorship offered)
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Willing to relocate to any USA-based office with a summer internship opportunity, including New York, New York or El Segundo, California
Responsibilities
- Work on projects to embed sustainable practices and reduce waste across L’Oréal’s business operations, focusing on solutions like inventory management, product donations, and recycling
- Support L'Oréal USA’s sustainable sourcing initiatives, including supply chain data collection, analysis, and supplier engagement on carbon reduction
- Research and execute projects to advance sustainable packaging goals, including understanding policy and NGO perspectives
- Assist marketing teams in communicating sustainability efforts that resonate with consumers, including researching insights and developing retailer engagement materials
- Support the Sustainability team in philanthropy, communications, and employee learning and engagement initiatives
