2027 Investment Banking Analyst - Healthcare Services & IT
About the role
Piper Sandler is seeking a Class of 2027 Investment Banking Analyst for our Healthcare IT & Services teams in our New York (NY), Charlotte (NC), Chicago (IL), Minneapolis (MN), and San Francisco (CA) offices. Candidates who will be graduating in May/June 2027 are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Create financial models
- Conduct financial valuations
- Create and maintain industry-specific business development books
- Conduct industry- and company-specific research
- Interact with clients and senior bankers
Our environment is collaborative, demanding, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial. Top analysts are invited to stay on for a third year, and direct promotion to the Associate level is available for strong performers without an MBA.
Analyst Training & Development
The analyst program begins in June 2027 with training at our headquarters in Minneapolis. New analysts from offices around the U.S. attend training designed to provide a broad understanding of our firm and its capabilities, as well as a strong technical foundation. Technical topics include accounting, valuation, financial modeling, and general computer skills. Social and team-building activities are incorporated to help new employees build relationships with their peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, management, or other related fields (required)
- Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Familiarity with finance, accounting, and financial modeling (strongly encouraged)

Pay
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $110,000 per year. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation, making total compensation competitive with the market.
