About the role
The 2027 Global Payments & Liquidity Internship at Wells Fargo is designed for recent graduates to gain experience and develop skills in the company’s market-leading working capital solutions. The program focuses on promoting professional development and business skills growth through hands-on experience and exposure to senior leadership.
Program Overview
Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) is a division that provides solutions for optimizing monetary asset use, managing liquidity and risk, and ensuring sufficient cash reserves. The internship is a 10-week program offering diverse experiences and insights across various business areas. Interns can be placed in either Sales or Product roles, where they will build key skills through activities like transaction structuring, financial analysis, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 or May/June 2028
- All majors welcome
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales
- Strong critical thinking and data insight skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, support customer strategy, learn quickly, adapt to change, and contribute to innovative solutions
- Ability to execute with urgency, manage projects and workflows effectively, support product delivery, and drive operational excellence with an enterprise mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, present professionally, prepare proposals, foster an inclusive environment, and actively seek and apply feedback
- Strong business acumen and customer understanding, with the ability to support treasury management, product delivery, and excellent service that drives customer-focused business outcomes
- Ability to act with integrity, apply risk controls and compliance requirements, and support well-managed, controlled payments and liquidity operations

Pay Range
- New York, NY & San Francisco, CA: $43.27-$43.27 hourly
- Charlotte, NC: $36.06 - $36.06 hourly
- Minneapolis, MN: $39.91 - $39.91 hourly
