Position Summary
The Walmart Finance MBA Leadership Development Program is a highly competitive opportunity within the Finance organization, targeting MBA students from select universities who aspire to work on significant projects at Walmart.
What you'll do...
- Play a role in Walmart's transition to becoming a true omnichannel experience provider.
- Participate in three eight-month rotations across various Commercial Finance areas including Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Real Estate, and Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Work with teams such as Omnichannel Strategic Finance, Corporate Development/M&A, Merchandise Finance, International FP&A, Financial Services, Health & Wellness, Digital Transformation, and Corporate Strategy.
- Engage in data analysis, financial modeling, strategic decision support, and initiative implementation.
- Receive 4 weeks of dedicated training to enhance leadership, technical, and soft skills.
- Access senior leadership, CFO Speaker Series, and FLDP-only experiences at Walmart locations.
- Benefit from a collaborative environment with formal peer and senior leader mentorship, individualized development planning, and coaching debrief sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a concentration in Finance or related field at the time of application with a graduation date prior to July 2027.
- 4+ years of industry or military work experience required.
- Professional experience in Finance, Strategy, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 1 year of experience managing people or cross-functional teams preferred.
- 2 years of experience working in a large, complex, matrixed organization preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, experience presenting to leadership.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfort with large datasets, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Authorization to work in US without restrictions at the time of application.

Additional Compensation
- Annual salary range: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
- OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
- 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
- 1 year’s supervisory experience
