About the role
As an Intern, you’ll be treated just like our entry-level staff. Working with staff at all levels of the firm, you’ll dive into a fast-paced environment with hands-on experience and substantial scope to help drive our clients’ success.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ assets, liabilities, cash flow, tax status, and financial objectives to develop investment and financial planning solutions.
- Evaluate client financial plans utilizing knowledge of investment and tax strategies and financial securities.
- Perform recurring quality control procedures on account activity ensuring trades and money movements with appropriate custodians have taken place and distributions are provided to the clients.
- Work with appropriate technology to prepare reports, including charts and graphs, to illustrate various recommendations and solutions to client-specific matters.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong interest in investments and economics.
- Passionate about helping individuals and families reach their financial goals.
- Detail-oriented leader with strong analytical skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
- Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
- On track to complete requisite bachelor’s degree and willingness to complete additional coursework required to sit for the CFP exam OR on track to complete requisite bachelor’s degree from a CFP Board Registered Program, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CFP license.
- Some experience at a brokerage, financial planning firm/practice, or money management firm is preferred.
This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.

Pay
The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour.
