2027 Finance Summer Intern

About the role

IBM's Finance Organization is responsible for driving enterprise performance and efficiency as the financial stewards of the enterprise, delivering IBM’s financial strategy with consistency, integrity, and transparency. We are seeking summer interns to work on highly visible projects and interact with senior managers. Interns will be considered for a range of functions such as accounting, financial planning, pricing, business controls, treasury, business development, and global financing.

Candidates must have the ability to work in the US without current or future need for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assigned to highly visible projects within IBM’s finance functions
• Collaborate globally and use data analytics to provide actionable insights
• Engage with senior managers and contribute to innovative improvements in financial processes

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Finance/Accounting or closely related degree program
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Adept in technology and use of Accounting Information Systems (AIS)
• Strong background in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Finance or Business Bachelor’s Degree (Rising Senior preferred)
