What You'll Do
- Complete risk assessments to develop controls to reduce exposure to different elements
- Evaluate Forklift and ergonomic activities to reduce risks and implement safeguards against common incidents
- Perform noise monitoring activities and determine necessary PPE, barriers, and additional risks imposed on the shop floor
- Review waste program and audit to meet and comply with RCRA regulations and review permits for plant locations to determine non-conformities
- Understand how to classify waste via RCRA determinations and evaluate non-conformities to produce corrective actions
- Present in safety committee meetings
- Further develop existing safety programs such as Confined Space, Hazardous Material, Fall Protection, and Lock out/Tag out
- New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures and completing problem analysis
- Assist managers in the write-up and review of safety documents

Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SAP
