We need to output HTML fragment with sections: location, pay, program start, duration, schedule maybe. According to rules: Use

for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience, "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to decide which sections to include. The posting includes location, pay, program start, duration, schedule, description (role), responsibilities (what you will do), qualifications (what you bring), helpful but not required, what you will gain, physical requirements and work environment, about company, EEO etc (to remove). Also "EHS Areas You Could Explore" maybe a list. We need to map to headings: About the role (maybe description), Responsibilities (What You Will Do), Requirements/Qualifications (What You Bring), Skills (Helpful, but Not Required), Benefits (What You Will Gain), Pay (given), Schedule (given). Also maybe "Location" not a heading but could be in a short paragraph. We must not include sections with placeholder text. All sections have real content. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Thus produce something like:

    Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan

    Pay: $26.00 per hour

Program start: Tuesday, May 25, 2027, with limited flexibility for academic calendars

Duration: 10 weeks, with the possibility of extending up to two additional weeks based on business needs and intern availability

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, on site

    Then sections:

    About the role

As an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at MacLean-Fogg, you will connect classroom learning with the work of protecting people and the environment in a manufacturing business. You will work with EHS professionals and teams across the facility to understand risks, gather useful information, and support practical improvements. You will take ownership of a meaningful project with guidance from an experienced team. Depending on your assignment, you might help improve a hazard-reporting process, analyze safety or environmental data, support an ergonomic improvement, or make training and work instructions easier to understand. At the end of the program, you will present your work, findings, and recommendations to facility leadership. One application connects you with the EHS internship assignments available at this manufacturing facility. Tell us which areas interest you. We will consider your interests, coursework, and experience alongside available projects and business needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Learn the facility's products, processes, and EHS practices relevant to your assignment.
    • Participate in supervised observations and reviews to understand tasks, concerns, and existing controls.
    • Gather and organize data, check its accuracy, and help teams identify patterns or opportunities for improvement.
    • Listen to employees and work with EHS, operations, maintenance, and other teams to understand practical needs.
    • Support project recommendations and help track assigned actions through completion.
    • Help prepare clear training materials, instructions, or project communications for review by qualified team members.
    • Handle sensitive information carefully and document observations accurately.
    • Follow required training, protective-equipment requirements, and facility procedures; ask for guidance before unfamiliar work.
    • Present your project results, lessons, and recommendations.

    Requirements

Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in occupational or environmental health and safety, safety science, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or a closely related technical field. Interest in protecting people and the environment in a manufacturing setting. Curiosity about how work is performed and willingness to ask questions before drawing conclusions. Ability to organize information, check your work, and explain your reasoning. Willingness to listen, accept feedback, and work respectfully with people in different roles. Availability for a full-time, on-site summer internship. Limited start-date flexibility may be available for academic calendars. All college class levels are welcome. Previous internship experience is not required. Coursework, labs, projects, volunteering, student activities, and other jobs can demonstrate your potential.

    Skills

    • Helpful, but Not Required: A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Coursework or projects involving safety, environmental science, human factors, ergonomics, statistics, or manufacturing.
    • Experience using Excel or another tool to organize and analyze information.
    • Experience explaining a process, developing instructions, or helping a group adopt an improvement.

    Benefits

    • Ownership of a project with a clear purpose and defined deliverable.
    • Coaching and feedback from experienced team members.
    • Practical experience connecting EHS principles with everyday manufacturing work.
    • Opportunities to collaborate across functions and present your findings.
    • A closer look at potential career paths in Environmental, Health & Safety.
We also might include "Physical Requirements and Work Environment" maybe as a section but not in the prescribed headings list. The headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. No "Physical Requirements". Could we include as a subsection under Requirements? Might be better to omit because not in list? The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., meaning those are examples, not exclusive. But they say "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Could include Physical Requirements as its own section if we think it's substantive. However they said "include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it". It does have real content. But they also gave examples; we could still use a heading like "Physical Requirements and Work Environment". Might be okay. But to be safe, maybe incorporate into Requirements or as a separate section with heading "Physical Requirements". Since they didn't forbid other headings, but they gave examples. I'd include it as its own section. But we need to avoid duplication. Also we need to remove EEO boilerplate etc. Also need to include "About MacLean-Fogg" maybe as a section "About the company". Not in examples but could be included. However they said prefer few substantive sections; we already have many. Might be okay to include About the company as a section. But we need to see if it's substantive. It is. Could include as "About the company". However they said "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So they expect those headings. Might be better to stick to those. So we can omit About MacLean-Fogg and Physical Requirements. But we need to preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot omit substantive info. If we omit About MacLean-Fogg, we lose that info. The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we must include that info somewhere. Could we fold it into a short paragraph under a generic heading like "About the company"? That's not in the examples but maybe acceptable. The instruction says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." The "e.g." suggests those are examples, not an exhaustive list. So we can use other headings as needed. So we can include "About the company". Also "Physical Requirements and Work Environment". Also maybe "EHS Areas You Could Explore". That is also substantive. We need to decide how to structure to avoid too many thin sections. Could combine some. Potential sections: - About the role (description) - Responsibilities (What You Will Do) - Requirements (What You Bring) - Skills (Helpful, but Not Required) - Benefits (What You Will Gain) - Pay (given) - Schedule (given) - Location (maybe as a short paragraph) - Program start and Duration (maybe combine into "Program details") - Physical Requirements and Work Environment - About the company - EHS Areas You Could Explore (list) But that's many sections. The instruction says "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we should try to combine related info into fewer sections. We could have: - About the role (includes description and maybe EHS areas) - Responsibilities - Qualifications (combines What You Bring and Helpful, but Not Required) - Benefits (What You Will Gain) - Pay - Schedule - Location & Program Details (location, program start, duration) - Physical Requirements & Work Environment - About the company That's still many but maybe okay. We need to ensure we don't create sections with placeholder text. All have content. We need to use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So for responsibilities, qualifications (if we list), benefits, EHS areas, physical requirements maybe not a list but could be. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. We need to drop boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, accommodations, legal, application instructions, etc. We need to preserve all substantive info: location, pay, program start, duration, schedule, role description, responsibilities, what you bring, helpful but not required, what you will gain, physical requirements, about company, EHS areas. We also need to keep "EHS Areas You Could Explore Assignments Vary By Manufacturing Facility And May Include Workplace Safety and Hazard Prevention: ..." That's a list. We could incorporate that into "About the role" as a list. Let's craft. We'll produce HTML:
