2027 Corporate Summer Internship - User Experience and Design

About the role

Join the Hilton corporate summer internship program to gain real-world professional experience in a global company. The internship is in-person at our McLean, VA office, running from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027. Interns will work full-time (40 hours per week) during the 10-week program.

This opportunity places you on the Marketing team, where you’ll help attract customers through storytelling, loyalty rewards, and unique customer experiences and partnerships. You’ll support efforts to increase customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and promote loyalty benefits.

Available internship opportunities may vary by location and business need, with potential roles including Intern, User Experience and Design.

Responsibilities

• Engage in impactful projects, participate in learning and development workshops, and build connections through networking and social events with Team Members and fellow interns.
• Support your assigned team by preparing reports, presentations, conducting research, and analyzing data.
• Encourage a culture of innovation and help develop new ideas and solutions.
• Utilize organizational, time management, and communication skills to manage tasks and collaborate with your team.
• Collaborate with your manager and team to deliver a final presentation showcasing your internship experience and learnings.

Requirements

• Commit to the full 10-week program (40 hours per week) onsite in McLean, VA.
• Be a sophomore or junior in a post-secondary education program, or have less than one (1) year of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Held a leadership role in your community or engaged with a student-run organization.
• Internship or work experience in hospitality or customer service (e.g., server, front desk, volunteer, coach).
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, User Experience, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
• Exposure to Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Airtable, Jira, AI, or similar tools.
• Interest in digital experiences, design operations, or user-centered design.
• Previous internship, academic project, campus leadership, or extracurricular experience involving project coordination, operations, or design.

Pay

$25.00 per hour with a one-time stipend of $2,500.00.
