About the role

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life‑changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Regeneron is currently seeking multiple 2027 Co‑ops in Laboratory Automation & Robotics Engineering to join our Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) team, which supports the automation infrastructure that keeps its labs running efficiently. These positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a fast‑growing, science‑driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of liquid‑handling robotics used across Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) labs
  • Build and test 3‑D printed lab tooling and fixtures
  • Contribute to automation projects spanning upstream, downstream, and analytics teams
  • Write and test basic programming scripts to support automation workflows
  • Provide hands‑on lab support alongside automation development work
  • Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists across multiple teams
  • Document automation processes and improvements

Requirements

Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position). Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week during one of the following periods: January‑August (Spring‑Summer), May/June‑December (Summer‑Fall), or August‑December (Fall). Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community is preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

Relevant majors: Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science.

Pay

The hourly rate range for these positions is $17.90‑$50.90 per hour, based on level of education and degree program.

Schedule

Positions are full‑time and onsite. Available work periods are January‑August (Spring‑Summer), May/June‑December (Summer‑Fall), and August‑December (Fall).
