About the role
Ambitious engineering students are invited to join LyondellBasell as a Chemical Engineer Co-op/Intern. You will gain hands-on experience in a global industry leader, contributing to projects that enhance plant safety, environmental performance, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Optimize day-to-day operations and identify/implement improvements to plant safety, environmental, and profitability performance as a Production Engineer.
- Evaluate and develop major projects and debottlenecks as a Process Engineer.
- Serve as a technical resource for the corporation and develop/improve systems for excellent process safety and environmental performance as a Control System Engineer.
- Provide technical support to polyolefin customers through visits and internal/external fabrication trials and drive innovation by developing new materials and processes as a Research and Development Engineer.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
