2027 Brand Sales Specialist Co-Op - Entry Level Sales Program

About the role

This is a 1 to 2 year Co-Op position for students to work while actively pursuing a degree for up to 20 hours while school is in session and up to 40 hours a week during school breaks and summer. As a Brand Sales Specialist Co-Op within our Sales Technical team, you’ll harness your unique skills and perspectives to engage in the development and deployment of AI systems using our watsonx platform for pilots that lead to deployment of enterprise-scale solutions at start-up speed. Responsibilities

• Create demand and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts, territories, and offering portfolios.
• Engage and qualify prospective clients through phone, email, social media, video outreach, events, marketing programs, and other digital selling channels.
• Develop and maintain an active pipeline by uncovering expansion opportunities, renewals, upgrades, modernization needs, and customer lifetime value opportunities.
• Participate in discovery conversations to understand customer business objectives, priorities, challenges, success criteria, and buying needs.
• Position IBM value propositions as a trusted advisor by aligning brand offerings to customer goals, industry trends, and measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Technology Sellers, Technical Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, Business Partners, Marketing, and Ecosystem teams
