About the Role
As an Office of the CFO - Finance & Strategy Intern, you will gain firsthand experience in the strategic financial operations that underpin BNY, a global financial institution. Responsibilities
- Support teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm.
- Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
- Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.
- Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies.
- Help support financial processes and analysis that inform decision-making across the firm.
- Contribute to work that improves efficiency, supports growth, and strengthens financial oversight.
- Support teams evaluating business performance, financial results, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
- Graduating in December 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary is determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and is part of the total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company-sponsored benefit programs.
