About the Role

Blackstone’s Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. The Summer Analyst will work directly with the Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS) Portfolio Strategy Group, which is responsible for portfolio management, strategy, and capital formation across BREDS’ investment vehicles. The role involves delivering critical portfolio management and reporting projects to provide insights that drive performance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting materials to support portfolio management across BREDS strategies
  • Analyze and synthesize raw data and analytics across the portfolio
  • Present findings to internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Improve processes leveraging technology and automation
  • Act as a liaison across teams to coordinate and align on joint projects

Qualifications

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate must possess:

  • A passion for figuring things out
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An interest in finance and economics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Cowork) strongly preferred

To be considered for the 2027 Summer Analyst Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
  • Resume must be in PDF format

Pay

Expected annual base salary range: $110,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For roles located outside of the US, salary will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
